My Cancer Journey: Visiting a ChurchOne of the things I love in life these days is visiting 2 old rural churches near where we live.
Both have a piano inside them.
I have never learned to play music but something takes over me.
Sitting in the beautiful calm peace of the church.
A tune comes to me and my fingers start playing.
Often it is the same sound.
And then suddenly tears start coming to my eyes.
A peace descends - a kind of healing energy.
I recorded myself playing and took some photos.
And made this video to try and share my experience.

My Cancer Journey - Taking time to relaxIn February I went to the hospital to have another scan.
The hospital is a few minutes walk from a beautiful coastal nature reserve.
Before the appointment I sat for an hour with lovely music watching the birds swim by.
When I went for my appointment I felt so relaxed and at home with myself.
I filmed this beautiful swan swimming and when I got home decided to make a short video of the experience - with the music I was listening to at the time.
